Use this when a site is more than one parcel: an assemblage, a family’s adjoining lots, or a few candidates you want to weigh against each other.
Select the parcels
Click the select button in the map controls on the right (“Select parcels: click to add, shift-drag a box”).
Click each parcel you want. Click one again to take it out.
To grab a block of parcels, hold Shift and drag a box on the map. Every parcel inside the box is added.
Press Esc or click the select button again to stop selecting.

A bar by the map shows how many are selected.
What you can do with them
Compare: the list on the left becomes a side-by-side view of just those parcels, so you can read acres, value and owner down a column. Back to all returns to the full list.
+ List: adds every selected parcel to a list at once.
Clear: empties the selection.
In the demo above, Shift-click also adds a parcel, and the card adds up acres, tax value and flood share across the selection.

On a parcel’s panel, What else this owner owns shows how much more the same owner holds in the county. List them puts those parcels on the map, which is the quickest way to find an assemblage.

Assemblage
Two or more adjoining parcels that could be bought together, most often because the same owner holds them. Together they can make a site none of them makes alone.
Buildable acres
The parcel's mapped acres minus the parts in the FEMA 100-year flood zone or floodway, mapped wetland, open water, and ground steeper than 15%. Each spot is only taken out once, even where two of these overlap.
